I posted this in here so we can get some good, analytical discussion.

What is everyone's thoughts on the LPD teams after the season??

Clintwood:
A team of ups and downs. When they are on, they are great. Almost unstoppable. IT seemed like they got complacent towards the end and got routed by JIB, but they are a better team than that. If they can get it rolling, they will be a tough out for anyone in Div. 1

Powell Valley:
Ive never felt as proud of a 5-5 team. They coulda layed down at 1-3, and not cared. They coulda quit after Myron's situation. They did not. They showed great heart and a great defense. The offense has some problems, they struggle in long yardage, and i dont see them winning any playoff games, but anything can happen. PV can win, but they have to rely on running the ball way too much, their vertical passing attack is nonexistant, and they can be gashed by running the ball off tackle.

JJK:
Great, tough team. Ill admit i thought they were a powderpuff team. Boy, I was wrong. They have a great rushing attack and a ROUGH defense. They dont have the most athletic kids, or the fastest, but they play as a team and give it their all. They can win a playoff game. If they play a team taht can stop the run, they are in trouble tho. They are 1 dimensional, they cannot pass the ball.

JIB:
Another great team. Miles is great, with taht weapon JIB has tons of options. They are fast, and can run run run. Their defense has played great the second half of the season, a surprise. They can def. make some noise in the post season, have to be the favorites. With a player like Miles, they can beat any team on any day. Their passing attack is weak, that can hurt them against good teams.

Appalachia:
Decent team. Good, varied rushing attack. They have 3 or 4 guys who are very capable runners, and tough. I dont understand why #2, Forrest, isnt involved in the offense more, he has speed like crazy and can make some moves, but he lined up outside all njight and didnt touch the ball but maybe once or twice. Their defense is tough and quick, but small and has no depth. They are a decent team, but cant beat a good team without having a lotta breaks.

Pound:
Pound was Pound. Had some good players, but not enough to really make any noise. I didnt see them play any, so maybe someone else can fill out more on Pound.
